Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Regular restaurant for the locals. No printed menu available... If doesn't know the name of the dishes, can refer to the pictures on the wall. Friendly staff but they only speaks Mandarin & dialects - Hokkien or Teochew (predominantly). Famous for its curry fish head.... And yes!Must order if you are there. Creamy thick curry broth with generous share of lady fingers The sambal kangkung was good too. But the prawn omelette & fried chicken cutlets in turmeric sauce was just so-so. They don't serve kopi / tea / milo etc. Drinks were limited to pre-cooked beverages such as barley (薏米), herbal tea (凉茶) & sugar cane (竹蔗)... But it was delicious! Good to have especially in this hot weather."
"Food is good .. price is reasonable .. a little bit warm even tho is getting late at night 7.30pm"
"Food tastes not bad. Reasonably priced. Good location. Plenty of car park."
"Good Chinese seafood restaurant, price is relative cheap and reasonable. One of my dinner Canteen"
"They cook good food, I went there with 4 table worth of family (1 table ablut 6-7 people), reached the restaurant at around 1.20 p.m. , waited for 1 hour only the dish came out. All dishes came out at the same time for all tables (we ordered 6 dish and all tables eat at the same time) It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to made an appointment for the chef to cook in advance so you don't waste your time waiting for an hour (*At least all dish came out at the same time for all tables)"
